LORDI: Vinyl Version Of 'The Arockalypse' Now Available

May 10, 2007

A limited-edition, one-time world pressing vinyl version of "The Arockalypse" from Finland's monster rock n' roll band LORDI is now available from The End Records' mailorder site, The Omega.

The vinyl version of "The Arockalypse" is the first time any of the band's material has been released on vinyl format. About the limited release, LORDI leader Mr. Lordi comments, "I've personally done all of the artwork for each LORDI album. And the way I've always made them was with the vinyl artwork in mind. You know what I mean? So finally, the album is going to be release in the format it was always meant to be. I hope that our previous albums will soon follow…"

The band began their "monster invasion" of North America this past weekend with a two-night stint at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey where they stormed the stage both nights with an awesome live set of anthemic rock numbers, pyro and theatrics. The band had been in New York City for the past week doing press for the recently released album "The Arockalypse" on The End Records (released as a special 2CD/DVD with bonus tracks/videos).
